Job Description

Personal Assistant / Tutor needed for 21 years old boy with Autism. He is gentle and very good to work with. He is studying at Leeds City College Joseph Priestley Centre. The role involves working 1-2 hours per week, after school or on weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Work 1-2 hours per week (after school or weekend)
  • Work either at home or participating in community activities, or sports activities like gym, running, bicycle
  • Play games
  • Read books
  • Play badminton in the garden
  • Ride bikes or just walk a while
  • Walk to library or take a bus to Headingley shopping to help improve his independence
  • Teach him to do activities that you enjoy like yoga, gardening
  • Take him to the trampoline park sometimes

Requirements

  • Some understanding of Autism
  • Leeds CIL approved PA preferred
