Job Responsibility

Provide one-on-one supervision and support, both at home and on outings, always ensuring the child’s safety
Provide some after school support
Encourage participation in hobbies and interests, such as sports, arts, and music
Provide companionship during these activities
Support the child with understanding and managing transitions and changes to routine
Assist the child with identifying triggers
Assist with personal care as needed, such as reminding them to wash hands
Develop and practice social skills through interaction
Accompany the child on appointments and outings (e.g. the cinema)
Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's progress, challenges, and any concerns
