This position is responsible for observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work. This position is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of guests, team members, vendors, and all company assets.
Job Responsibility
Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests, vendors, and fellow team members
Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security and report to lead and or supervisor
Works effectively with all departments assuring efficient security support is provided when needed
Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activity
Maintains excellent working relationships with other company staff, vendors, and contractors
Aids law enforcement authorities as needed
Regularly assist in transporting and escorts regarding assets transported throughout locations of the operational facilities during their assigned shift
Documents and reports all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy
Ensure that all functions and duties are maintained in a professional and efficient manner
Perform other duties as assigned by Department Management
Monitors all relevant activities to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and controls
Ensures all assigned staff are aware of, understands and complies with regulatory requirements
Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
One (1) to Two (2) years’ experience in security preferred or a combination of education and security experience within specific areas of responsibility
Casino experience preferred
An equivalent combination of Customer Service and Communications experience may be required
Must be punctual and dependable
Knowledge, skills, and experience in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff, communications, decision making, problem solving, complaint resolution and resources allocation
Read, write, and speak the English language
Read professional publications, memos, emails, logs, newsletters, and documents
Perform intermediate mathematical computations up to and including probability and statistics
Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential
Perform assigned tasks under supervision
Follow written and verbal instructions
Establish and maintain positive relationships with executive level management, other managerial and supervisory staff, and other Team Members
Work well alone or within a team
Present facts and recommendations in oral and written form
Prepare written reports and correspondence to upper management as required
Utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level
Exercise sound judgment and make decisions
Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to provide all documents required to show eligibility to work in the United States
Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
