Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permits Officer to join our Loganholme, QLD team on a Maternity Leave Contract until March 2027. Job Responsibility:
Manage council, certifier, and authority approvals across residential projects
Prepare and lodge permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Coordinate documentation including BASIX/energy reports, engineering, and plans
Liaise with councils, certifiers, consultants, and internal teams to progress approvals
Track permit status and follow up outstanding items to meet build timelines
Maintain accurate records across internal systems and workflows
Support Sales, Drafting, Estimating, and Construction teams to enable smooth handovers
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes
Requirements:
Experience in permits administration, approvals coordination, or residential construction
Understanding of council approval processes and compliance requirements (highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple applications and competing deadlines
Confident communication skills when liaising with internal teams and external authorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/build management systems
A proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to quality outcomes
Previous experience within residential home building or local government approvals will be highly regarded
