Job Description

The successful candidate will be playing an important role within the business, with accountability for the issuance, management and coordination of notifications to work in accordance with relevant permit schemes, NRSWA and TMA, to produce and issue all required reports for relevant clients. You will also be required to attend permitting and planning meetings.

Job Responsibility

  • Issue permits of work in accordance with relevant permit schemes, NRSWA and TMA
  • Ensure permits are dealt with on time as laid down by legislation
  • Produce regular reports of notifications at various stages
  • Effectively use all other websites/databases/procedures relating to coordination and planning of works
  • Seek actively innovations and service improvements
  • Work to targets set (such as KPIs if directed) and be fully responsible for the performance relating to these. Able to produce data/reports in relation to these targets
  • Enter/update/maintain all information within database(s)
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as supply chain partners
  • Provide full and effective cover for Planning Team members during periods of absence as required

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NRSWA and TMA legislation & Specification
  • Knowledge of the construction/Telecoms industry at any level
  • Some prior experience of works planning
  • Knowledge of relevant permitting schemes and general office procedures
