Job Description

Full time Teaching Assistant needed for KS3 & 4 SEN support within a specialist school, Onsite training is provided. Permanent role /Term time only. The school is energetic and full of life, pupils are encouraged to embrace there own learning and thrive, Specialist school with 120+ pupils on roll- Primary and secondary provision, Awarded 'outstanding' in there last OFSTED inspection, Pupils are offered a whole encompassing learning experience, every child has there own learning plan that supports then academically and emotionally. Supportive and valued team and senior leadership- long standing SLT, Shared ethos of 'working together', SEN learners including Autism, Asperger's and associated conditions.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting KS3- KS4 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events

Requirements

  • 3-12 Months experience in Education, Care or childcare, ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners
  • Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK settings (desirable)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
