St George’s International School is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Piano to join us in September 2026 on a fixed-term contract to cover staff absence. (approximately 8 months, across two academic terms) To implement and deliver individual piano lessons, according to the age, ability and aptitude of the students taught in the school, while maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the teaching studio at all times. We are looking for an exceptional teacher who has a proven track record in delivering outstanding teaching to pupils aged 7-18 and who is committed to excellence, continuous improvement, inspiration and enthusiasm.

Requirements
Demonstrated professional experience and recognised qualification in piano
Right to work in Switzerland
Certified Teaching Status
Strong subject knowledge in piano
Ability to set clear expectations and ambitious learning goals
Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
Ability to assess student performance and learning effectiveness
Excellent preparation and lesson planning
Experience teaching secondary and post-16 students
Strong commitment to student welfare and development
Ability to provide constructive feedback to enhance performance
