Working in our Maternal–Fetal Medicine (MFM) Department offers sonographers the unique opportunity to be directly involved in patient care throughout the entire pregnancy journey—from the first trimester through delivery. While we are a fast-paced and high-acuity department, we pride ourselves on being a close‑knit, supportive team. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, social workers, and medical assistants, fostering strong communication, teamwork, and continuity of care. This collaborative culture creates an exceptional learning environment, supported by our monthly anomaly conferences, where we review cases, explore specific anomalies, and stay current with the latest research and protocols. A career in MFM allows you to deliver meaningful, high‑acuity care while still maintaining an excellent work–life balance.
