Job Description

Justteachers is seeking a Performing arts and Music Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence from September 2026 – With the school looking to interview during the summer term. This is a welcoming secondary school with a strong focus on inclusion and student wellbeing. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm learning environment where pupils are supported to achieve their potential. The leadership team is approachable and values professional development.

  • Receive face-to-face training on art projects from Kathryn, our Creative Director
  • Participate in a structured training programme covering teaching methods, child development, and art education
  • Continue developing your own artistic skills to support high-quality class delivery

  • Support studio growth and operations through admin tasks, customer communication, stock management, event coordination, and maintaining studio organisation
