Job Description:

Execution Services technology team seeks a Performance Testing Engineer to lead Performance Testing and Engineering tasks for applications with complex architectures, driving strategies, planning, and execution across multiple teams, ensuring quality and SLA adherence.

Job Responsibility:

Driving non-functional testing solutions for applications with complex architecture
Performing strategy, estimation, planning, execution oversight for Performance Engineering tasks
Providing thought leadership and expertise in NFT for the team
Creating performance testing artifacts including test strategies and optimization reports
Collaborating with Development, QA, Architect, Business, and Production Support teams
Identifying and implementing frameworks, strategies, and toolsets
Striving towards process improvement and test optimizations.

Requirements:

SME level knowledge to drive the non-functional testing solution
Performance Testing & Engineering skills
Ability to assess & design standalone component or End to End Testing approach
Experience with performance test frameworks for non-functional testing
Strong knowledge of monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Kibana, BMC TrueSight
Experience in profiling application end-to-end performance and identifying bottlenecks
Ability to provide tuning recommendations for Application Servers, Database Servers, Message Buses and Web Servers
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Collaboration and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Attention to detail and ability to automate repetitive tasks
Technical knowledge with one or more programming languages like Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, Ruby.

Financial domain knowledge
Exposure for developing stubs and drivers
Training and mentoring skills to guide Performance Engineers.
