Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced performance test engineer to validate the performance, reliability and scalability of the Corelight network sensor with a focus on testing in virtual and cloud environments at scale. The sensors can be combined into fleets of sensors to cover the entire network. You’ll harness your skills and experience to isolate the origin of issues from Linux network processing to traffic mix through to detection packages and exporting. Provide dashboards and self-service tooling for collaborators to confirm results in a fully automated fashion. Let the statistical significance of the data direct the prioritization of your work. Feel strongly that the usefulness of our findings directly correlates into how well we can map the symptoms into real work impact. Tackle system performance issues: analyze and debug complex system performance issues, identify bottlenecks and optimize product/service performance to improve user experience. Collaborating with developers, engineering leaders and product managers on regular basis to review performance metrics. Support extended teams in troubleshooting problems
