The Paid Social Manager is responsible for executing all day-to-day management, optimization, and execution across paid social platforms including, but not limited to, Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, and Reddit associated with assigned accounts; developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve client growth goals; cultivating client relationships; training team members; and developing strategies to stay ahead of the ever-changing paid social landscape.
Job Responsibility:
Establish strategy and implement, optimize, and manage budgets for paid social campaigns across, but not limited to, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and Snapchat for direct response retail and tourism accounts
Work closely with Media Strategists to align on goals, budgets, and overall strategic direction for paid social channels
Provide budget recommendations based on audience size, revenue goals, platform performance, etc.
Develop strategic recommendations with supporting rationale to maximize performance on paid social
Deliver integrated paid social media campaigns with an appreciation for other online and offline channels
Ensure all paid social campaign billings are up to date and all finance queries are followed up in a timely manner
Analyze paid social campaign performance against client KPI's and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
Support in any new business pitches and related work as required
Maintain healthy relationships with platform reps to stay up to date on the latest tools, trends, and insights
Train/educate other Backbone media planners and coordinators and strategies, techniques and trends in paid social
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
2-5 years of relevant professional experience
Comprehensive experience with relevant marketing technology stacks, including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and Pinterest
Strong working knowledge of Excel and competency in PowerPoint and Word
Create and apply strategies across paid social campaigns
including audience targeting, placement strategies, creative analyses, and campaign structure recommendations
Strong grasp over data analysis and measurement and ability to A/B test and identify opportunities for optimization to hit benchmark KPIs and meet client goals
Working knowledge of platform pixel and event setup
Ability to articulate strategic approaches through verbal, written and visual presentations to clients
Excellent communication skills with an analytical approach to managing data
Detail-oriented with exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Able to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure
Self-motivated and excited to take on new challenges
Nice to have:
Knowledgeable on all aspects of digital and traditional media, including Paid Social Media, Search Engine Management, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management, Mobile, Out-of-home, TV, Print, etc.
Basic understanding of public relations, community management and affiliate marketing
