Right now, We are currently looking to strengthen our China Marketing team with a performance marketing specialist who will be responsible for China performance media planning and execution. The role will require deep cooperation with paid media platforms and local market stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Operations and eCom. The role will also manage the China performance media agency and all execution. This role will play a key role in building Marshall China's performance marketing capability, driving business growth through data-driven media planning, optimization and measurement. The position is based in Shanghai, China and reports to the Media Manager in Shanghai, China.
Job Responsibility
Develop and execute full-funnel performance marketing campaigns across key China digital channels, including WeChat, RED, Weibo, Tmall/JD paid media and other mainstream platforms
Manage media budgets, audience segmentation, bidding strategies, A/B testing and campaign optimization to achieve KPIs including CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS and sales contribution
Lead media agency management, ensuring execution excellence, reporting accuracy and continuous optimization, including establish tracking and analytics framework
monitor daily performance and deliver data-driven insights, weekly/monthly optimization reports
Work closely with creative, social media, eCommerce and sales teams to develop high-performing ad creatives, content assets and conversion-focused campaigns
Support key business moments including product launches, seasonal campaigns, brand collaborations and major shopping festivals (618, Double 11, etc.)
Identify growth opportunities through consumer insights, platform trends, competitive analysis and emerging digital marketing capabilities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field
2–5 years of performance marketing experience in China with solid track record in 3C / consumer electronics, fashion, lifestyle or premium or DTC brands
Proven hands-on experience in Douyin, RED, Tmall/JD and other major Chinese paid media platforms
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and independently optimize campaigns for ROI
Good aesthetic sense and understanding of fashion, lifestyle and young consumer trends
Fluent in English (written & spoken) to communicate with global and APAC teams
Target-driven, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects under pressure
Experience working with international premium / fashion lifestyle brands
Knowledge of livestreaming e-commerce and short-video ad ecosystem
Working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
Proven experience in performance marketing with strong track record of ROI and conversion delivery
Deep hands-on knowledge of Douyin, RED, Tmall/JD and other major Chinese paid media platforms
Strong data analysis, reporting and campaign optimization capabilities
Ability to plan budgets, forecast results and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Good aesthetic sense and understanding of lifestyle & fashion content trends
Fluent English communication skills for global team alignment
Strong project management, execution and time-management skills
