About Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) Animal Emergency Australia is a growing national network of emergency and critical care veterinary hospitals dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency veterinary after-hours care for pets and their families when they need it most. At AEA, our marketing team is hands on, collaborative, and close to the work we do. We're looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist who thrives in data, lives in optimisation mode, and gets genuinely excited by turning clicks into meaningful outcomes. This is not a set and forget marketing role. This is performance with purpose, supporting hospitals, education, and talent attraction across a national ECC network.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and optimise paid campaigns across Google, Meta and emerging channels
  • Continuously test targeting, messaging, creative and conversion pathways
  • Improve cost efficiency and campaign ROI across multiple AEA priorities
  • Identify new growth opportunities and test-and-learn strategies
  • Monitor visibility and performance across locations and services
  • Improve local search presence using tools like Yoast, BrightLocal and GBP insights
  • Strengthen discoverability across our hospitals
  • Deliver clear, actionable performance reporting across all digital activity
  • Translate data into recommendations that influence spend, strategy and growth
  • Ensure tracking, tagging and attribution accuracy is maintained and improved

Requirements

  • Experience managing paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads essential)
  • Strong understanding of SEO and local search performance
  • Confidence working with analytics tools (GA4, Data Studio/Looker Studio or similar)
  • A data-first mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to turn performance insights into clear action
  • Proactive, curious, and always testing what works better
