We are looking for a passionate new team member to join us as a Performance Marketing Manager – Focus Paid Search (d/f/m). About the team: As a Digital Marketing team we empower our private and commercial customers to joyfully trade on Kleinanzeigen across web and app. We help our users along the customer lifecycle and journey through digital initiatives (Performance & Mobile Marketing, Onsite, CRM) to find or to sell the item of choice – locally or with shipping options! This hybrid role combines remote work with office presence in Berlin Charlottenburg. You will report directly to the Performance Marketing Lead.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and scale successful Performance Marketing initiatives across multiple channels and disciplines with the objective to increase our KPIs (i.e. Leads, Insertions,…) with a dedicated focus on SEA + Shopping
  • Measure, report and analyze the efficiency of your Performance Marketing activities, understanding the core drivers and adjust accordingly
  • Responsible for an efficient budget allocation and continuously optimize campaigns by conducting A/B-tests, incrementality and balancing brand and performance metrics
  • You are the counterpart of our Data & Measurement Specialist within the Performance Marketing Team
  • Think “full funnel” and improve your campaigns by considering different categories, user segments and user journeys, elaborating on best ways to incentivize them
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and find the best way to convert traffic into conversions
  • Analyze competitors, identify trends, insights and new opportunities in performance marketing to maximize growth opportunities
  • Manage and nurture relationships with external partners & agencies

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven experience in working with Performance Marketing channels to acquire and activate them to customers
  • Experience in working with Performance Marketing channels like SEA and Shopping to generate new and retargeting existing customers, especially with Google Ads and Microsoft Bing
  • Profound understanding of tracking & measurement and familiarity with setting up new events within the Google Tag Manager
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to leverage data and to shape strategies and maximize ROI within a data-driven approach
  • Experience with Feedmanagement Tools is a big plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and operational knowledge of E-Commerce processes and an eye for new trends in the digital marketing world
  • Ability to drive marketing initiatives and projects forward, manage stakeholder expectations in a cross-functional and agile working environment
  • Motivation for new challenges with the ability to challenge the status quo constructively
  • Open-minded, positive, enthusiastic, inspiring, result-oriented individual with the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment combined with a high degree of self-initiative, readiness for action and a hands-on-mentality
  • Business fluent in German & English
