Performance Environmental Engineer

• Monitor system upgrades
• Analyze defect reports across the Non-Production Environments
• Provide on-call support 24x7 as needed on a rotating basis
• Participate in infrastructure, maintenance, and application release check-outs
• Maintain system support documentation
• Follow established methodologies, standards, and guidelines
• Contribute to event, incident, problem, and change management
• Collaborate with applications teams to monitor systems and processes, ensuring availability and customer satisfaction
• Foster a positive environment and build successful relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners

• 3+ years experience supporting multi-tier applications
• 3+ years experience with or exposure to batch processing, monitoring technologies, and trend analysis
• Knowledge or experience with AppDynamics (i.e., transaction analysis, dashboarding, and alerting)
• Knowledge or experience with Splunk (i.e., data analytics, dashboarding, reporting, and alerting)
• Knowledge or experience with relational databases and DML for SQL queries and Linux shell commands
• Knowledge or experience with event and incident management across multiple teams
• Knowledge or experience working in or leading dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams through issue resolution
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field or equivalent experience
