Data Analyst role providing meaningful insights, analysis, and reporting for stakeholders, driving performance improvement through enhanced reporting and key trend analysis. Supporting data projects and helping develop systems that leave a legacy of better data insights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct deep analysis of existing data sets to uncover areas for improvement
  • Perform statistical analysis on big data to identify trends
  • Create tools and platforms for data automation
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis to pinpoint routine performance losses
  • Enhance the internal reporting suite to improve data quality and efficiency
  • Simplify complex scenarios and effectively communicate outcomes
  • Provide meaningful insights, analysis, and reporting for stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proficient in Power BI and DAX, with strong knowledge of data modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills, including analytical techniques
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and presentations
  • Proven experience in a senior analytical role
  • Experience in presenting insights focused on data analysis and trend identification
  • Familiarity with data reporting tools and systems ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of performance analysis in a data-driven environment
  • Deep knowledge of statistical techniques for forecasting and analysis
  • Awareness of railway operational performance metrics or high frequency passenger transportation data
