Job Description

Data Analyst role providing meaningful insights, analysis, and reporting for stakeholders, driving performance improvement through enhanced reporting and key trend analysis. Supporting data projects and helping develop systems that leave a legacy of better data insights.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct deep analysis of existing data sets to uncover areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Degree in Mathematics or Computer Science or equivalent
  • Proficient in Power BI and DAX, with strong knowledge of data modelling
  • Advanced Excel skills, including analytical techniques
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and presentations
  • Proven experience in a senior analytical role
  • Experience in presenting insights focused on data analysis and trend identification
  • Familiarity with data reporting tools and systems ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of performance analysis in a data-driven environment
  • Deep knowledge of statistical techniques for forecasting and analysis
  • Awareness of railway operational performance metrics or high frequency passenger transportation data
