This role is for an experienced Creative Strategist based in the Philippines to join us initially as an independent contractor with a view to full-time permanent employment. This person will support our paid media clients by driving performance-focused creative direction. You’ll be responsible for identifying winning ad concepts, analyzing creative performance data, and turning insights into actionable briefs and feedback. You’ll work closely with UGC creators, designers, and editors to bring creative ideas to life—ensuring assets are optimized for each platform and aligned with performance goals. You’ll also take a lead role in exploring and implementing AI tools within the creative strategy workflow—testing new platforms, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting the team in integrating tools that improve efficiency and elevate creative output. As part of your senior responsibilities, you’ll also contribute to shaping the evolving role of creative strategy within our performance team, helping us define standards, processes, and ways of working across accounts.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze paid media performance to identify creative trends, winning ads, and areas for improvement
Conduct research to support concept ideation and ensure cultural and brand relevance always with performance in mind
Translate insights into clear, actionable briefs for design, UGC, and editing teams
Maintain a feedback loop on asset performance to inform future iterations
Collaborate with UGC creators, designers, and video editors to bring creative concepts to life
Review and QA creative assets to ensure they are on-brand, error-free, and performance-optimized
Adapt creative for different platforms and placements as needed
Research, test, and recommend AI tools that enhance creative strategy, improve efficiency, and support ideation or reporting workflows
Lead implementation and onboarding of approved tools within the creative strategy team
Share findings and best practices to help the wider team integrate AI meaningfully into daily work
Maintain professional, friendly, and transparent communication with clients
Work alongside paid media teams to support the Client Lead in shaping creative strategies that align with overall client objectives
Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategy team, Head of Creative, Creative Director, and designers with a positive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented mindset
Approach collaboration with openness to feedback
Requirements:
2+ years in creative strategy or performance marketing
Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and paid media creative performance metrics
Proven experience writing creative briefs and turning performance insights into clear next steps
Familiarity with platform-specific ad formats and best practices (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
Excellent communication skills—able to clearly articulate ideas, direction, and feedback
Experience working with or managing UGC creators and creative freelancers is a plus
