Job Responsibility:
Total patient care for the Emergency Department Inpatient population (admitted patients in the emergency room) and Observation involves three levels of care: IMU, Telemetry, and Med Surg
Heavy focus on oncology, surgical oncology, and bone marrow transplant
Must be qualified to care for the highest level of care, IMU, and have special training in critical care, oncology concepts, surgery and medicine
Requirements:
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California
BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date
Minimum two (2) years of recent acute care inpatient RN experience
Must be able to function in a fast-paced team environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and consistently demonstrate empathy and kindness to all staff and patients

Recent acute care IMU/PCU or ICU, or ED Inpatient (EDIP) experience
