We are looking for a PEP (Personal Education Plan) Co-Ordinator to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £27,117 to £29,615 per annum. Job Responsibility
Lead on the development and implementation of each individual students Personal Education Plan (PEP) as required
To arrange, attend and chair, as required, PEP meetings in conjunction with social workers, virtual schools and internal college teams
Ensuring students personal, emotional and academic needs are prioritised
Make sure the young person has a voice in setting learning targets
Developing and monitoring systems for liaising with carers, social workers, health professionals and the Virtual School/s in relation to the education needs and progress of the student
Requirements
Hold a relevant level 3 qualification (Advice & Guidance, Youth Work, Teaching, Mentoring)
GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths or equivalent
Experience of working with a wide range of young people with different and sometimes challenging needs
Experience of chairing meetings
Knowledge and/or experience of identifying and supporting young people with a range of issues and barriers to learning
Experience of working with social care and other external agencies
