The PeopleSoft Support Analyst role involves working with a dynamic team to implement and enhance PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Candidates should have 6-8 years of experience in PeopleSoft Development and Support, particularly with PeopleTools. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Work on a highly motivated, dynamic, strong development team implementing, supporting, and enhancing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Academic Advisement, Academic Structure, Campus Community, Recruiting and Admissions, Curriculum Management, Student Records, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Student Self-Service)
Design, development, debugging, bug-fixing, & unit testing of the PeopleSoft application as well as work on Support (Incident acknowledgement, analysis, resolution, testing and closure)
Interacting with business users, Functional leads & customers to understand and define requirements and participate in design & development
Independently lead new custom or feature implementations and Support
Conduct assessment and evaluation of reporting needs and make recommendations on reporting tools
Requirements:
Minimum 6-8 yrs PeopleSoft Development and Support experience
Minimum 6-8 yrs PeopleTools (Peoplecode, App Engine, Workflow, SQR, Component Interfaces, App packages, Integration Broker, web services, Query, XML publisher, UNIX, Cobol and can write and understand complex SQL statements)
Good Functional exposure (about 2-4 years) in Campus Solutions
Should be able to complete testing & reviews based on Functional & Technical designs
Good understanding of the Functionality of CS modules, process flow, key application (setup and transactional) tables and flow of data into the core CS tables
Ability to understand customer requirements, possess clarity of thought and communication and translate business requirements/issues to Technical requirements and design
Full understanding of the Software SDLC (systems development life-cycle)
