Requirements

4-year college degree or equivalent technical study
5+ years of experience as PeopleSoft Functional/Technical consultant implementing Absence Management and Payroll
Plan & lead implementation of PeopleSoft 9.2 Absence Management with Payroll integration according to business requirements
Strong understanding of Fluid user interfaces for the PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM modules HR, Payroll, and Absence Management
In-depth knowledge of the various functionalities within the PeopleSoft HCM modules is required
Design, develop, and support application solutions to meet client requirements
Analyze and design functional/technical solutions for PeopleSoft enhancements and continuous improvement
Translate end-user requirements into PeopleSoft-specific configurations and identify required customizations
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions
Provide technical support in design, development, testing, and deployment of PeopleSoft applications

Job Responsibility

Work with the PeopleSoft Development and Human Resources teams to implement the Absence Management module and integrate it with the existing Payroll system

Requirements

5–7 years of hands-on project management experience (practical execution required
certification alone is not sufficient)
Strong working knowledge of PMI-based project management methodologies and ability to apply them in real-world scenarios
Experience using ServiceNow Project Management tools
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts, etc.)
Experience supporting or managing HR-related IT projects
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft or similar platforms
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and production processes

Job Responsibility

Lead and coordinate IT projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets
Develop, review, and manage project plans using the ServiceNow Project Management module
Independently manage smaller-budget projects from initiation through completion
Coordinate project activities across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technical teams to assess computing needs and system requirements
Provide technical coordination and issue resolution in collaboration with stakeholders
Support and oversee backup, security, and user support systems as part of project initiatives
Participate in fast-paced application and operating system upgrade projects, especially for healthcare IT systems such as EHRs
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction
Support HR-related IT initiatives, including implementations and upgrades involving systems such as PeopleSoft

Act as a PeopleSoft Financial (FIN) Management and Product Specialist
Work with Business and Managed Services vendors to support day-to-day PeopleSoft-based Financial Operations and Projects
Use business process modeling and/or vendor solution evaluations to analyze potential for streamlining or reengineering business processes via implementation of information technology solutions
Help manage the State’s relationship with its ERP Managed Services Providers (MSP) to ensure that SLA’s and other performance metrics are met
Drive collaboration with key Business, internal Infrastructure, MSP, Security, and other critical stakeholder organizations to ensure that the ERP FIN application operates efficiently in support of business operations calendars
Gather and analyze information from stakeholders, business owners, customers and management
Lead identification, triage, troubleshooting and reporting of production issues and problems in the ERP FIN application
