Job Description:

The PeopleSoft Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering PeopleSoft upgrade enhancement and support projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project management best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft finance projects from initiation to closure
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Manage scope, budget, and schedule while mitigating risks and issues
  • Coordinate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and ensure proper documentation
  • Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Oversee testing, training, and deployment activities
  • Manage customer relationships and third-party integrations
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices in project execution

Requirements:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM implementations, upgrade and support
  • Experience in PeopleSoft Finance Modules (GL/PC, AR Billing, Sales & Earning)
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and upgrade methodologies
  • May require occasional travel and after-hours support during critical phases
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft modules and architecture
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale ERP implementations or upgrades
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Service-Now, etc.)
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
