Outsource UK is recruiting an experienced People Team Advisor to join a dynamic HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide professional, pragmatic HR advice and support across the business, ensuring policies and processes are applied fairly, legally, and effectively. You’ll act as a trusted partner, balancing organisational needs with colleague wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise managers and senior stakeholders on employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, absence, capability, redundancy, flexible working, and probation
  • Support investigations, hearings, and outcome communications, ensuring fair, transparent, and legally compliant processes
  • Partner with business leaders to influence people-related decisions and contribute to wider organisational projects
  • Promote employee wellbeing and embed a culture of care and resilience
  • Facilitate mediation, retention interviews, and engagement initiatives to reduce turnover and improve workplace culture
  • Manage complex cases such as long-term sickness, ill-health capability, and reasonable adjustments
  • Coach managers on applying HR policies consistently and building sustainable leadership capability
  • Contribute to policy development, training programmes, and wider HR initiatives
  • Ensure accurate HR records and compliance with GDPR and governance requirements

Requirements:

  • Solid HR experience across all areas of employee relations and resourcing administration
  • Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to manage ER cases and support organisational change
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware with strong judgement
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively across HR and with wider business stakeholders
