Job Description:

The role is part of the People Solutions team within the People Solutions & Advice function. People Solutions are strategic business partners, developing proactive strategies, plans and policies that align with People and business goals. The team also provide 'second-line' oversight to two first line teams People Advisory and People Investigations. The remit will cover Policy, People Risk, Business Change and Employee Relations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on people risk policy
  • Support and/or lead global and regional projects
  • Lead on business change policy and regulatory changes
  • Set policy frameworks and minimum standards
  • Own market people risk policy and ensure compliance with employment law
  • Maintain ongoing oversight on market and global employment laws and regulations
  • Advise on risk appetite strategy for contentious advisory
  • Share analysis/reports to support people risk steward oversight
  • Serve as SME to Head of People and business leadership
  • Provide strategic advice on business change programs and industrial relations matters

Requirements:

  • Experience advising on a full range of employment practices and relations issues
  • Experience and knowledge of setting policy frameworks & minimum standards
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of HR risk 2LOD activities e.g. horizon scanning, RAPID2, Risk Taxonomy and Control Library
  • Understand employment laws, including federal and state where appropriate
  • Expertise in negotiations and conflict resolution techniques to address internal disputes
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and methodologies to lead market transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to redundancy processes and best practice
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
