Crimson Education is a global EdTech company. We’re hiring our first People Relations Partner to shape how we manage complex people matters across our global workforce. This role will lead global employee relations cases, investigations and advisory while also building scalable frameworks to strengthen trust, enable high-performance and growth. This isn’t just a reactive ER role —it’s about ensuring everyone is treated fairly by designing consistent, clear, and proactive processes that help leaders act quickly and confidently. The right person combines deep People expertise, exceptional judgment, and a commercial mindset. You’ll be AI-enabled, pragmatic, and skilled at guiding leaders through ambiguous, high-stakes situations, always focusing on outcomes that benefit both our people and the business. This is a hands-on role that requires confidence in handling cases across multiple jurisdictions, ideally in the UK, New Zealand, or Australia, with exposure to the USA and other Asian markets a plus!

Job Responsibility

  • Lead complex ER cases across multiple jurisdictions, including performance, behaviour, and change management
  • Partner with legal and senior leaders on high-risk or nuanced cases to ensure fair, timely, and compliant outcomes
  • Coach and support managers and employees through sensitive topics
  • Build scalable, equitable ER frameworks, policies, and playbooks
  • Identify trends and opportunities to strengthen culture, trust, and performance, and turn insights into proactive initiatives with the People team and senior leaders
  • Leverage AI and data tools to streamline case management, reporting, and documentation while keeping a human-centred and compliance-first approach

Requirements

  • 4+ years’ experience in employee relations, with a deep understanding of current ER best practices
  • Knowledge of employment law, regulations, policies, and principles — ideally in the UK, New Zealand, or Australia, with exposure to the USA and Asian markets a plus
  • Exceptional judgment, able to assess risk, apply nuance, and provide commercially sound recommendations
  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating at all levels, making decisions while keeping leaders and stakeholders informed
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — adaptable, pragmatic, and confident in making decisions in imperfect situations
  • Tech and AI-enabled mindset — curious and able to leverage AI tools to improve support, efficiency, and insights
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, global, or remote team environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to address sensitive topics while balancing compliance requirements
  • Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and empathy

What we offer

  • Rapidly growing start-up, with a flexible working environment where you will be empowered to structure how you work
  • Limitless development and exposure - our internal promotions/role changes made up 33% of all recruitment last year
  • $1000 individual training budget per year, we love to ‘Level Up’ (it’s one of our core values)!
  • Therapist on-staff
  • Insightful fireside chats and workshops to help support our high-performing and ambitious team
  • Radical Candor is a feedback approach we live by
  • We’re a global player with 30 markets (and growing) across the globe. Most roles have the option to work from one of our many offices or remotely!
