Job Description:

As a People Planning Specialist your responsibilities will include implementing the people planning strategy at a unit level, managing the full function of the store staffing optimisation process from forecasting to execution, ensuring adherence to employment standards and legal requirements, collaborating with recruiting teams, and identifying process improvements.

Job Responsibility:

Implementing the people planning strategy at a unit level
Managing the full function of the store staffing optimisation process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule
Ensuring adherence to IKEA's employment standards and legal requirements relating to People Planning
Collaborating with the Unit's recruiting team to ensure vacancies are filled with the appropriate contract
Identifying possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation

Requirements:

Experience working with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
A highly developed ability to analyse complex data and deliver the information to stakeholders in a simple to understand format
A drive to improve current ways of working to enable successful outcomes for the customer, the co-worker, and the business
Excellent attention to detail, can multi-task and can remain calm and agile in the face of changing business priorities
Working knowledge in forecasting, scheduling, budget adherence and reporting within a workforce management system (UKG is preferred)
