Your main mission will be to “Define and own the People strategic agenda” for Spain. You will report to the Head of People Iberia and work closely with the General Manager and local leadership teams in the country, including frequent travel across the region. As part of the leadership team, you will be the primary point of contact for senior leaders across the organization, offering both expert strategic guidance and hands-on leadership support. You will be responsible for bringing the People vision to life, deploying the people strategy, and supporting business needs with a high-standard, forward-thinking approach—challenging the status quo and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in driving the People agenda for multiple teams and sub-departments, helping to shape the business from a People perspective. Your work will be guided by long-term business strategy and objectives. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with both local and global HR teams, including centers of excellence and People operations & solutions. You will cover all areas of Human Resources within a significant part of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Partner strategically with the senior leaders in the team, always aligned with People processes, to translate strategic objectives into project delivery
Guide your team to build strategic initiatives through the generation of relevant data and analysis
Lead growth projects within the teams you support as well as reorganizations according to business needs
Own the Strategic workforce planning activities
Coaches, supports, mentors and challenges business leaders in the application of HR policies and practices, provides advice and direction on sophisticated HR issues
Partner with the client area's leadership to identify business needs aligned with organization plans and team growth (structure, costs) and partner with the People Acquisition team to ensure and enable the correct recruitment process
Ensure development is a key topic in Glovo, making it a core topic at the leadership level within the client teams. Ensure the performance review process with high-quality discussion, and implement and manage career path for key roles and secure succession planning
Support the business to identify mid and long-term capability needs, in order to implement a learning and development process and ensure a continuous learning environment
Maintain a strong focus on employee relations, monitor employee engagement, and retention activities
Requirements:
Experience in highly demanding environments and in a similar role for more than 5 years
Experience in leading HR teams (including managing people)
Proven experience as an HR leader in the region
Track record in Leaders development
Experienced in working with Global People teams, looking into translating strategy to regionally relevant executions
Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
Excellent English and Spanish written and spoken
An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude and excellent interpersonal communication skills at all levels
Experience in startups will be highly valued, either by having directly worked in a similar company or managing a new project unit in a larger organization
Exposure to HR Tech including HRIS, ATS and reporting HR metrics.
