As a People Partner, you will provide a high-quality, strategic people partnering service, working closely with leaders to align people initiatives with business strategy. You will drive performance, engagement and change while embedding organisational values, culture and best practice.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver strategic people partnering support to achieve business objectives, including change management, performance, absence and attrition reduction, talent identification and workforce planning
Develop and implement People Plans aligned to business and corporate strategy
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert consultancy on people risks, capability gaps and organisational challenges
Lead and support organisational change, ensuring leaders are equipped to manage change and colleagues remain engaged
Strengthen performance management and leadership capability to improve outcomes
Drive employee engagement, positively impacting retention, productivity and Great Place to Work results
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing and constructively challenging to deliver commercial impact
Use people data and insights to inform decision-making and forecast workforce needs
Partner with the wider People function and Centres of Excellence to deliver a consistent, joined-up service
Act as a custodian of culture and values, embedding the pillars of Communication, Equality, Reward & Recognition and Fun
Requirements:
Proven experience in a fast-paced generalist HR / People Partner / HR Business Partner role
Strong experience operating within a business partnering model to support commercial outcomes
Demonstrable experience leading organisational change (e.g. restructures, transformations, ways of working)
Sound knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice
CIPD qualified (or equivalent professional experience)
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence to challenge at all levels
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively
Experience supporting employee engagement and performance improvement initiatives
Demonstrates organisational values and treats colleagues fairly and with respect
Nice to have:
Experience supporting large-scale or complex change programmes
Experience in a matrix or multi-site organisation
Knowledge of workforce planning, talent management and succession planning
Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams
Experience using engagement survey results (e.g. Great Place to Work) to drive action
