The People Operations Specialist ensures the efficient execution of HR administrative processes, payroll coordination, and labor law compliance within the French regulatory framework. The role’s mission is to guarantee operational excellence, data accuracy, and full compliance with French labor legislation while delivering a reliable and service-oriented employee experience. With a minimum of 5 years of experience, the position requires autonomy, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to act as a key operational liaison between HR, payroll providers, Finance, and employees. This is a specialist-level position without team management responsibilities.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, contract changes, offboarding)
Draft and update employment contracts (CDI, CDD, internships, apprenticeships)
Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure compliance
Oversee leave management, absences, and working time tracking
Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs (variables, absences, overtime, bonuses)
Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance
Review DSN declarations and social contributions
Administer employee benefits (mutuelle, prévoyance, meal vouchers, etc.)
Apply relevant collective bargaining agreements
Ensure compliance with French labor law and internal policies
Provide structured and legally sound support in all employee relations matters
Prepare documentation for labor inspections and CSE requirements
