Job Description:

As a People Operations Specialist, you will oversee compensation and benefits to enable Snappr’s explosive growth and ensure employees are well taken care of. You will handle payroll functions, Total Rewards Strategy, compensation benchmarking, vendor management, and government compliance to contribute to Snappr's mission of providing on-demand photography worldwide.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the entire payroll function and be accountable for its accuracy and timeliness by working with leaders to resolve timekeeping discrepancies, reviewing payroll and government remittances computed by our accountant, and tracking additional payments (e.g., reimbursements, deductions, performance pay, referral bonuses)
  • Analyze, reconcile, and correct any discrepancies or errors related to payroll and benefits
  • Facilitate enrollment of employees into compensation and benefits platforms (e.g., timekeeping and LMS software, payroll bank provider, HMO)
  • Ensure that attrited or unqualified employees are removed from these platforms on time
  • Orient and assist employees in the availment of benefits such as leaves, HMO, loans, maternity, sickness, and government subsidies
  • Act as a thought partner in designing a Total Rewards Philosophy and Strategy that promotes equity, attracts top talent, and motivates a high-performing culture
  • Design and execute benefit and rewards programs aligned with the company’s philosophy and strategy
  • Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and maintain an internal job band structure based on benchmarked data
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs
  • Act as the main point of contact for Snappr’s third-party vendors (e.g., Accountant, HMO Provider, Payroll SAAS Provider) and keep vendors accountable for maintaining SLAs
  • Lead the selection and transition to a more effective payroll provider

Requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in administering payroll and benefits, preferably fully owning the Compensation & Benefits function
  • At least 1 year of experience in collaborating with HR and management in designing and improving compensation and benefits programs and processes
  • Experience in using Sprout as a payroll software is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll procedures, HMO administration, government benefits, and current labor rules and regulations
  • Communicates clearly and manages stakeholders effectively, especially when explaining payroll discrepancies, walking through compensation data, and proposing new compensation and benefits programs
  • Great spreadsheet skills to analyze data, solve problems, and manage projects
  • Strong knowledge of market salary ranges and familiarity with Total Rewards are bonuses
  • A 'let's get it done' mindset
  • Should be willing to report 100% onsite in Ortigas
