As we step into our next phase of growth, Everlaw is looking for a People Operations Generalist to support and strengthen our core processes, ensuring that they are human-centered, reliable, and seamless. You’ll report to the Head of People Operations, Insights and Total Rewards and work closely with our People Partners, People Programs, Recruiting, Legal, and Finance Teams. You will set your own bar, expanding your skills while directly contributing to our team's success and our mission to promote justice by illuminating truth.
Job Responsibility
Serve as the first line of support for all Everlawyers. You’ll be the guardian of our ticketing system, triaging incoming questions, and providing clear and empathetic answers across a wide range of topics
Own the operations for key milestones across the employee lifecycle. You’ll coordinate onboarding/pre-boarding, process role and organizational changes, and guide employees through the offboarding process. You’ll ensure our HRIS and related systems are always up to date, and can be relied on as sources of truth
Own our immigration program: You’ll guide managers and Everlawyers through transfers, renewals, and paths to permanent residency, partnering with external Immigration Counsel to ensure all submissions are accurate, comprehensive, and timely
Champion compliance: You’ll keep us compliant and audit-ready, meticulously maintaining required documentation and partnering with Employment Counsel to manage all filings
Continuously uplevel our ways of working: You’ll celebrate and codify what’s working, while identifying process gaps, recommending improvements, and actively driving the changes required to help us scale
Over time, you’ll also have the opportunity to partner with members of our broader team to support key programs - including (but not limited to) benefits and leave administration, our performance review cycles, and more
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, or an HR Generalist role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
