Job Description:

We are seeking a People Operations contractor to support high-volume, detail-oriented execution across the employee lifecycle. This role will extend team capacity, with a primary focus on onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle operations for EMEA and APAC.

Job Responsibility:

  • Onboarding operations: Approve and/or enter new hires in our HRIS and PEO platform, including one-time payments and equity
  • Ensure onboarding forms are complete in Workday to support payroll and benefits setup
  • Complete right-to-work checks for EMEA and APAC hires
  • Onboard contingent workers to Workday and the Vendor Management System
  • Offboarding operations: Partner with People Partners on EMEA and APAC terminations (in Workday and our PEO platform) by approving terminations, coordinating required documentation, and ensuring payments are entered on time
  • Create offboarding checklists to kick off stakeholder tasks
  • Draft offboarding documents and send via DocuSign
  • Offboard the contingent workforce in Workday
  • Enter severance payments in Workday for payroll processing
  • Ongoing employee lifecycle operations: Draft salary certifications for employees in EMEA and APAC
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Manage fixed-term and contingent worker contract extensions for EMEA and APAC (including Globalization Partners)
  • Input and/or approve employee data changes in Workday and the PEO platform
  • Prepare a monthly spreadsheet for EMEA and APAC payroll processing (for example, flag data changes, new hires, terminations, one-time payments, and other items for Payroll)
  • Triage and respond to questions submitted to our ticketing system within expected SLAs
  • Support the probation review process by monitoring in-progress Workday items and following up with People Partners and managers for completion

Requirements:

  • Experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role, with hands-on process execution and case management
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday (HCM) and comfort operating across multiple People tools and systems
  • Experience supporting international employee populations and partners, especially in EMEA and APAC
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee data with discretion
  • Ability to context-switch and navigate country-specific nuances
  • Strong written communication and consistent follow-through with cross-functional partners (People Partners, Payroll, Legal or Employment Counsel, and vendors)
  • This role will handle sensitive employee data. Access and permissions will be provisioned using least privilege, and all work must comply with internal confidentiality and security requirements
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
