We are searching for an experienced People Experience Administration Assistant to support the execution of Merivale’s Talent and Workforce Strategies. This is a casual position where you will support end-to-end recruitment for Front of House guest experience professionals and highly skilled Kitchen teams. You’ll champion candidate care to elevate the overall employee experience, from first contact to onboarding, while providing administrative and operational support to the Talent Acquisition team to ensure efficient recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • End-to-End Recruitment Support - Support high-volume recruitment for hospitality roles, including candidate screening, coordinating trials, and processing onboarding requests
  • Utilise proactive sourcing channels to build strong talent pipelines
  • Coordinate job postings across internal and external platforms
  • Candidate Care - Champion candidate experience by ensuring consistent and engaging communication, timely feedback, confidentiality, and compliance throughout the recruitment process
  • Administrative & Operational Support - Provide support to the People Experience Team, including data entry, tracking and reporting, inbox management, and hiring manager communications
  • Compliance & Documentation - Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant legislation

Requirements:

  • Recruitment or administration experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Understanding of the Hospitality industry or high-volume environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
