As our newest Professional Development Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our staff team. You will work closely with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and Regional PD Manager to ensure that all colleagues have access to high-quality training and development opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team and make a real difference to staff development and student outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinating and managing all aspects of staff professional development, including CPD sessions and training records
Supporting the delivery of Oasis’s national PD strategy at academy level
Maintaining accurate records of training and compliance requirements
Liaising with external providers and internal teams to organise training events
Promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth across the academy
Requirements:
Friendly, articulate, and customer-focused approach to work
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in coordinating training or professional development (education or public sector experience desirable)
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Legal right to work in the UK for the duration of employment
Fluency in spoken English
