Job Description:

To implement and develop the organisation’s Learning & Development strategy and deliver HR advisor support. ( HR advisor training will be given). This role is ideal for an experienced L&D professional who is confident operating independently in learning design and delivery, and who is looking to broaden their HR generalist experience within a fast-paced e-commerce fashion environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement and continuously improve the Company’s L&D strategy in line with business objectives
  • Conduct training needs analysis across departments
  • Design and deliver engaging workshops (e.g. management development, performance management, communication skills, onboarding, compliance training)
  • Build structured development pathways (e.g. team leader programmes, future managers program)
  • Own and continuously improve the onboarding and induction experience
  • Manage and develop the LMS and ensure accurate training records
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through feedback, KPIs and performance outcomes
  • Support succession planning and talent development initiatives
  • Coach line managers on development planning and capability building
  • Identify external training providers where required and manage relationships
  • Ensure mandatory training compliance across the business
  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers on policies, procedures and employee relations matters (with guidance)
  • Support on low-level ER matters (e.g. absence management, probation reviews, minor conduct/performance issues)
  • Assist with formal meetings where required
  • Contribute to people reporting (absence, turnover, training data)
  • Support annual HR cycles (performance review, salary review, engagement surveys)
  • Support positive employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Comply with UK employment legislation and company policies
  • Champion company values and behaviours
  • Support internal communications relating to learning, engagement and people initiatives
  • Contribute ideas to enhance employee experience in a fast-paced, trend-driven fashion environment
  • Act as a visible and approachable member of the People team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an L&D role (minimum 2-3 years)
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programmes independently
  • Experience in conducting training needs analysis and building structured learning plans
  • Experience supporting employee relation cases and completing basic HR tasks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (Retail, Fashion, E-commerce or Similar preferred)
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to design engaging, modern learning content (both in-person and virtual)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence managers
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Analytical mindset – able to measure impact of L&D initiatives
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office
  • experience with LMS desirable)
