The People Data, Insight & Reward Manager is a key role within the FT’s People team, responsible for overseeing the people analytics, reporting, and reward functions. This position leads a small team and works closely with other departments and senior partners to provide insightful data-driven recommendations, ensure the integrity of compensation structures, and drive the People systems digital transformation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop a team of two technical specialists in the People function
Prepare regular quarterly people and engagement reports
Utilise advanced data analytics to provide actionable insights for the People leadership team and business leaders
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of People data
Maintain the job architecture and ensure up-to-date pay ranges
Lead compensation benchmarking and reward processes, addressing ad hoc benchmarking requests from the business
Prepare and deliver regular presentations on compensation and reward strategies
Participate in union negotiations (US & UK), providing data-driven insights to support the negotiation process
Drive the advancement of People systems, focusing on digital transformation
Ensuring data integrity, privacy and security within all People systems
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior partners including FT Board members
Establish and maintain a relationship with key collaborators in the Tech and Finance departments
Act as a trusted advisor on People data, insight, and reward matters
Communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner
Requirements:
Experience using Workday
Skilled at People (HR) data analytics and reporting
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience using salary benchmarking tools and working knowledge of other reward processes is highly desirable
