Job Responsibility:
Lead the annual planning process, ensuring alignment with Advocate Health’s strategic goals and objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to drive the People and Culture function forward.
Collaborate with the People & Culture Leadership Team (PCLT) to drive strategic initiatives and ensure alignment across all functions. Serve as a trusted advisor to PCLT.
Drive the People and Culture goal-setting framework (OKR) and ensure success metrics are created and met. Establish and maintain an effective operating rhythm to support strategic initiatives.
Oversee the evolution of the People and Culture function, including the transformation of the operating model.
Lead special projects related to People and Culture transformation, growth, and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
Develop a strategy to address and continually monitor business continuity and risk mitigation within the People and Culture function. Develop and implement strategies to address potential risks and ensure operational resilience.
Responsible for promoting continuous learning within the PCLT, ensuring a global perspective and outside-in view for People & Culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Typically requires 7 years of experience in HR Strategy development, strategic planning, project management or equivalent experience
Extensive experience in HR strategy development, strategic planning, and executive leadership.
Strong understanding of organizational development, change management, and business continuity planning.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated experience in operating effectively within a large, matrixed healthcare organization.
