Job Description:

Now we are looking for our new People & Culture Manager for IKEA Stockholm Barkarby – an inspiring and relevant store where our existing and new customers as well as co-workers are in focus. We are looking for someone who, with strong people focus, drive, and commitment, creates the right conditions for our co-workers to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations – every day. At IKEA Barkarby, nearly 600 employees work together. Here, we test new ideas, learn from mistakes, celebrate successes, and share knowledge across IKEA.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring the business and People strategy are driven together
leading the P&C Business Partner and Coordinator
leading the People Planning Specialists and scheduling process for co-workers
securing internal communication in the store
implementing local People & Culture strategies
maintaining relationships with local unions
ensuring compliance with policies and laws
ensuring co-workers and managers have the right competencies
ensuring a good working environment
contributing to making IKEA a fantastic place to work

Requirements:

Knowledge in Swedish labor law
fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
previous experience in leadership and HR, preferably from retail and larger organizations
strong personal leadership style aligned with IKEA’s values
inspiring communication skills
understanding of the business and how to drive the People agenda through others

Nice to have:

Experience in collaboration with union partners
motivation to explore new paths and innovations
