People & Culture Manager oversees core People & Culture operations, including recruitment oversee, employee relations, compliance, and employee engagement, in line with Four Seasons standards and local labor regulations. This role partners closely with leaders to support talent development, manage workforce challenges, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture with a strong focus on professionalism, confidentiality, and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day People & Culture operations, including manning, recruitment, attendance, and payroll administration
Lead employee relations matters, including grievance handling, counseling, investigations, and conflict resolution, escalating legal-sensitive issues to the Assistant Director of People & Culture as required
Monitor employee engagement, satisfaction, and morale, and implement initiatives to enhance the employee experience and workplace culture
Analyze employee turnover trends and develop action plans to address retention challenges
Coordinate and support talent review, succession planning, and development initiatives
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and Four Seasons standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal and regulatory changes
Manage People & Culture operational compliance, including audits related to payroll, benefits, insurance, leave, and personnel records
Lead and oversee employee activities, engagement programs, and cultural initiatives, including staff events and recognition programs
Ensure consistent application of Four Seasons policies, EmPact standards, and codes of conduct across the hotel
Act as a trusted partner to department leaders, providing guidance on people management and performance matters
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment
Requirements:
College education or equivalent experience
5–8 years of relevant People & Culture / Human Resources experience, with supervisory or management exposure

General working knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations

Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea
