Job Description:

Lead and execute People Strategies at the unit level within IKEA to create a better everyday life for co-workers, drive recruitment, talent development, and co-worker relations while ensuring adherence to national strategies and policies. Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team and prioritize Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the local implementation of People Strategies
act as a Business Partner for the Unit Manager and other leadership colleagues
lead and develop the local P&C team
champion internal career growth and development opportunities
support recruitment processes in the unit
implement Co-worker Relations Plan
manage interactions with co-workers to ensure adherence to labor relations principles
train others in problem solving, mediation and counseling skills
monitor and act upon P&C performance indicators
communicate and collaborate with the Market P&C Manager
lead Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and work-life balance initiatives
ensure Health & Safety compliance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience
minimum of 2 years in a direct leadership role
experience in managing, coaching and developing teams
strong passion for co-worker relations, recruitment, talent development and forecasting
experience working in a matrix organization
high level of professional and moral integrity
ability to act as a strategist while being tactical and operational.

Nice to have:

Problem solving, mediation and counseling skills
experience in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
familiarity with Health & Safety compliance.
