Job Description

This manager-in-training role is a great opportunity to begin your career in People & Culture while gaining a strong understanding of the department and its day-to-day operations. The role allows for hands-on learning across key HR functions, with a strong focus on employee engagement and supporting a positive workplace culture. Through this experience, the individual will develop foundational People & Culture skills, build meaningful relationships with employees, and gain insight into how People & Culture partners with leaders to support both people and business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with leadership to schedule and organize a diverse set of learning offerings annually for all levels of staff
  • Support the Learning & Development manager in assessing learning needs, design & implementation of custom solutions, and evaluating effectiveness
  • Facilitate learning programs including orientation, departmental onboarding, service culture, and new manager programs
  • Support learning initiatives with program branding and hotel wide communications
  • Ensure all facets of compliance training are completed within corporate driven time frames
  • Attend & facilitates shift briefings to support operational learnings
  • Assist with Standards Testing and collating reports on a monthly basis
  • Work with the People & Culture department to maintain positive employee relations and assist with overall P&C functions to ensure the success of the department
