Execute operational People tasks at unit level to deliver an excellent co-worker experience
Build local business competence and performance by setting and working on relevant People goals
Ensure recruitment and onboarding of the right talents with the right contracts in close collaboration with the Unit P&C Manager and People Planning Specialist
Ensure and deliver learning & training at unit level (unless delivered by the P&C Manager)
Secure co-worker engagement and retention by understanding co-worker conditions and needs
Implement Health & Wellbeing initiatives at unit level
Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived and contributes to the IKEA brand
Implement co-worker relations plans that manage local co-worker interactions and ensure compliance with labour relations principles, policies, procedures and laws
Requirements:
2–3 years of relevant HR experience is mandatory
Passionate about people and committed to unlocking their potential to drive business performance
Dedicated to creating an excellent co-worker experience throughout the co-worker journey
Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-dimensional environment with both tactical and operational tasks
Strong alignment with IKEA values and leadership through people philosophy
Ability to translate long-term plans into actions aligned with set budgets and goals
Knowledge of worker and employer rights and obligations, and able to mediate between workers, employing entities, trade unions and governmental stakeholders
Skilled at engaging co-workers through the yearly people cycle and supporting performance against business and individual goals
Experienced in managing partnership models responsibly and building trustful collaborations
Able to introduce new co-workers to IKEA, the team and work activities in a structured and performance-enhancing way
Demonstrated leadership ability with capacity to manage multiple priorities, initiatives and stakeholders
Strong communicator able to influence and inspire through clear expression of ideas and opinions
Knowledgeable about IKEA corporate identity, values and vision to ensure right representation
Proactive, self-driven and result-oriented, taking ownership without needing close direction
Able to work independently while also being an effective team player
