Job Description:

As a People & Culture Generalist at Inter IKEA, you'll contribute on both tactical and operational fronts, collaborating closely with the People & Culture Leader. You'll support the organization in every People & Culture aspect—from welcoming new coworkers to guiding them through their entire journey with us, until they move on to new adventures. The role is part of Retail Concept which is assigned to protect, expand, and develop the IKEA Concept and the IKEA Brand in existing and new markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support organization in all People & Culture aspects
  • Partner with People & Culture Leader and Managers to attract and nurture talents through recruitment process
  • Ensure welcoming onboarding process for new colleagues
  • Develop, apply and refine People & Culture processes and practices
  • Provide guidance in change management
  • Offer guidance in coaching, reintegration, working conditions and legal matters
  • Support all People & Culture processes within the unit
  • Act as main point of contact for managers from P&C
  • Safeguard consistency in approach and execution of people plan and people year cycle

Requirements:

  • Outstanding HR partnering skills
  • Ability to coach, support and challenge managers on people processes
  • Strong communication skills with transparent, simple and straightforward approach
  • Experience as HR Business Partner with skills in driving organizational change
  • Ability to coordinate and align people topics across multiple sites
  • Background as People & Culture Generalist
  • Knowledge of Swedish labour law
  • Experience with international recruitment and skill development
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law is a plus
  • Passion for fostering supportive, welcoming environments
  • Ability to work in dynamic, multi-dimensional settings balancing tactical and operational tasks
  • Experience with full spectrum of HR processes (attracting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, talent flow, competence development, P&C policies, and exit)
  • Goal-oriented with effective prioritization skills
  • Independent worker with collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Dutch labour law
