People & Culture Generalist

• Execute all operational People tasks related to P&C at unit level to deliver an excellent co-worker experience
• Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant People goals
• Ensure recruitment and on-boarding of the right talents with the right contracts in close collaboration with the Unit P&C Manager and the unit People Planning specialist
• Ensure and execute delivery of learning & training at unit level, unless provided by the P&C Manager
• Securing engagement and retention by understanding the conditions of our co-workers
• Implement Health and Wellbeing initiatives at unit level
• Ensure local employer communication is consistent, well perceived and builds on the IKEA brand
• Implement a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers and ensures that all areas in the unit work with the labour relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and laws

• You enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment and can balance both operational and tactical responsibilities
• You have strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver results independently while collaborating across functions
• You communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, and influence stakeholders through strong collaboration and partnership
• You have experience engaging, onboarding, developing and managing co-worker performance throughout the entire co-worker journey
• You have knowledge of employment legislation, labour relations, and working with trade unions and government authorities
• You have experience implementing long-term people plans while managing budgets and achieving business goals
• You understand the IKEA vision, values and corporate identity and represent them in your daily work
• You take ownership, show initiative, and are motivated to continuously improve both people and business performance
• You have proven Human Resources experience with a successful track record of developing people and organisations
• Experience working in a global matrix organisation, participating in global projects, and understanding the INGKA/IKEA matrix is an advantage
