The People & Culture Generalist is an essential member of the People & Culture Department, responsible for supporting the daily operations of the team while delivering a high level of service to our employees and leadership team. The People & Culture Generalist plays an integral part in supporting employee relations, internal communications, daily operations, and administrative duties, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience. This role will maintain multiple spreadsheets and databases to ensure accurate, up-to-date information. Additionally, the People & Culture Generalist will support hiring processes, onboarding, and learning and development as needed. The team embodies all Four Seasons cultural values while maintaining established standards, with professionalism expected at all times. This role reports to the People & Culture Manager and is overseen by the Director of People & Culture.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture office by serving as the primary point of contact and maintaining a professional, organized, and welcoming environment
Planning and providing administrative support for employee engagement initiatives, including events, town halls, and company-wide programs
Maintaining employee files and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with employment laws
Answering phone calls and responding to chats and emails through our unique computer systems
Collaborating with team members to ensure employees are always taken care of
Supporting hiring processes, onboarding, and learning and development as needed
Requirements:
1–3 years of Human Resources or People & Culture experience is required
Hospitality-related HR experience is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with others and build trust
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Workday or similar HRIS preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism
