The People & Culture Generalist will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities, ensuring consistent and high-quality employee experience, and supporting managers and the business across all stages of the employee lifecycle. The role aims to create a positive, efficient, and engaging work environment that values people and drives solid, scalable HR processes. This role operates in an international context, working closely with teams based in Italy, the US, the UAE and the UK. This is a fixed-term role covering maternity leave, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the People & Culture team in an international environment - possibility of permanent placement afterwards will be evaluated.
Job Responsibility:
Foster a positive and motivating work environment, increasing engagement and employee satisfaction through initiatives, team-building activities, and internal events
Oversee the full employee journey, ensuring a smooth and rewarding experience from onboarding to exit, anticipating needs and supporting managers and teams throughout
Manage internal communications, ensuring all employees are informed and aligned on processes, updates, and company initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues across different countries and time zones (Italy, US, UAE, UK)
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: attract, select, and onboard top talent, building authentic relationships with candidates and ensuring a positive and consistent experience
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, facilitating effective integration into teams and providing managers with the tools and support needed for a motivating start
Support managers in the day-to-day management of employees and in developing team performance
Monitor MBOs and feedback, ensuring objectives are clear, regularly tracked, and discussed
Coordinate internal training and skill development: identify growth needs, design learning paths, and facilitate the development of key competencies
Manage HR administrative activities and oversee outsourced payroll processes
Ensure all processes comply with internal policies and regulations, supporting managers in applying policies and procedures correctly
Supervise performance management processes and generate actionable reports
Coordinate junior HR staff or interns in operational tasks and onboarding, ensuring a coherent learning path
Guarantee quality and accuracy in delegated activities, maintaining high standards of reliability and precision
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably in international environments
People-oriented approach: empathy and ability to motivate others
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and flexibility
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to create a motivating and inclusive work environment
Excellent command of English and Italian
