Job Description:

We’re looking for a People & Culture Generalist who is passionate about people and eager to make a real impact. In this role, you’ll help create an inspiring IKEA experience by supporting our co-workers and leaders, ensuring our people strategies come to life every day. IKEA Raisio store, with over 200 co-workers, is now looking for a People & Culture generalist to join their team. Job Responsibility:

Executing operational people related tasks and daily routines on unit level, e.g. on- and offboarding related tasks, to deliver an excellent co-worker experience
Support the building of local business competence & performance by setting and working on relevant people goals
Ensuring a smooth and effective recruitment and on-boarding of the new talents in close collaboration with the centralized recruitment and administration teams
Executing trainings for co-workers and managers
Supporting and coaching managers on all people related matters (e.g. our rules and guidelines including the collective agreement, health and wellbeing, co-worker relations, performance, development)
Work towards key objectives for the role, ensuring your actions contribute to the overall success of the People & Culture function and the unit’s business goals

Requirements:

A strong HR foundation – you understand labour rights and obligations and know how to build trustful relationships between co-workers
Ability to take responsibility and act independently, while being a true team player who supports others when needed
A proactive mindset with a drive to improve and innovate, always looking for better ways forward
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage naturally with managers and co-workers
A down-to-earth approach, preferring practical, simple solutions over bureaucracy
The courage to lead by example, living IKEA values in everything you do and inspiring others to do the same
A results-oriented attitude, ensuring goals are met and tasks are completed with quality and efficiency
You communicate fluently both in Finnish and English, written and spoken
