As a People & Culture Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor for managers and employees for our Global Service Center (GSC) located in The Netherlands. The GSC serves as the global headquarters of the Fagron Group and is home to an international team of approximately 80 employees. You provide expert guidance in all HR domains, ensure strong HR processes, and drive both strategic and operational people initiatives. This role combines hands‑on HR support with continuous improvement, policy implementation, and project leadership. You ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and global HR standards while fostering a positive social climate and a high‑performing workforce.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR‑related topics
Provide expert advice on performance, development, employee relations, organizational changes, and team dynamics
Determine, implement, and communicate HR policies and processes in alignment with global, national, and local standards
Continuously evaluate HR practices and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience
Oversee and monitor the full recruitment and selection process, ensuring the right people are placed in the right roles
Participate in interviews, selection decisions, and the offer-making process including negotiation
Ensure a smooth onboarding and integration of new employees
Implement employee engagement and well-being initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture
Ensure implementation of global HR initiatives within the Netherlands
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate, timely administrative processes
Oversee facilities management for the Rotterdam office
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
+5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally as an HR Business Partner
Strong knowledge of Dutch employment law and up-to-date understanding of HR legislation
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Comfortable working across the full HR spectrum, from administrative tasks to strategic initiatives
Experience supporting managers and employees across multiple departments or business units
Hands‑on, independent, and solution‑oriented, with high integrity and professionalism
Strong interpersonal skills
able to connect easily with colleagues at all levels
Full‑time availability preferred (40 hours), with the option for a 4‑day workweek
Experience handling employee relations and sensitive HR matters with discretion
Analytical, comfortable working with HR data and metrics to support decisions
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the HR team
