Job Responsibility:
Provide trusted, practical employment relations advice to leaders and teams
Work closely with leaders to proactively manage and resolve ER matters, including performance management, ER processes and documentation and organisational change
Contribute to broader people initiatives across policy, engagement and generalist HR activities
Influence, coach and lift capability across the business
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience in a HR generalist or advisory role, ideally within a multi-site or operational environment
Proven experience managing a wide range of employment relations matters, including disciplinaries, performance management and change processes
Strong working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and innovative HR approaches
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, applied to ER investigations and risk assessment
Clear, confident written communication skills for ER documentation
The ability to build credible relationships across all levels of the organisation
Sound judgement, resilience and the confidence to provide clear, balanced advice
Experience contributing to HR projects, policy development or organisational initiatives
