Job Description

As our People Apprentice, you’ll support the People team in delivering an excellent HR service across the business. You’ll gain experience in recruitment, employee relations, engagement, learning and development, reporting, administration and HR systems. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, proactive and passionate about building a career in HR.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the People team with day to day HR administration and employee queries
  • Assist with recruitment activity including advertising roles, arranging interviews and onboarding new starters
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Assist with preparing reports and analysing people data
  • Help coordinate training and development activities
  • Support managers and the People team with HR projects and initiatives
  • Assist with updating HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with company policies and employment legislation
  • Build positive relationships with colleagues across the business

Requirements

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
